The Dr. Phillips name has been a major economic and philanthropic presence in the central Florida community since the turn of the 20th century.  Dr. Phillips Charities, comprised of Dr. Phillips Inc. and The Dr. P. Phillips Foundation, support projects designed to benefit, preserve and improve the community.  Dr. Phillips Charities has granted nearly $200,000 to Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF over the past five years to assist the Theater with the purchase of capital equipment, such as lighting and safety equipment, and education programs such as Shakespeare Alive! residencies and the Intern Training Program.
