Orlando Shakespeare Theater creates extraordinary experiences for children and adults through the art and magic of theater thanks in part to generous patrons who support our work. Without the donations and support of the community (YOU!), Orlando Shakes would not be able to produce ten plays every season, develop new works during PlayFest, and share educational experiences with guests of all ages each year.
Here are five ways you can make a difference:
General donations to Orlando Shakes are welcome year-round and may be 100% tax-deductible. Your funds go directly to support our programs and performances.
Every year, United Arts holds its Campaign for the Arts for twelve weeks (February through April). Designate “Orlando Shakespeare Theater” as the recipient of your donation and we will receive 100% of the funds. Your donation also may be matched by 15% if pledged during this time. It is essential for any organization to receive general operating support through donations such as these.
A $500 contribution to become a PlayFest Patron is 80% tax-deductible and ensures you’ll get the best seat in the house! Receive an all-access pass for PlayFest and be recognized for your special contribution in programs, curtain speeches, on our website, and more.
Orlando Shakespeare Theater is also often in need of donations of a variety of merchandise and supplies. These donations may be tax-deductible. Click here to see our wish list! Please contact the Theater first if you would like to donate an item not on the wish list.
Whether planning your estate or simply wanting to contribute an ongoing annual gift to the long-term stability of the organization, Orlando Shakespeare Theater can provide you with the opportunity and information needed to help.Click here for more information on how to become part of our Prospero Society.
