Bring your school-age children to Orlando Shakes to participate in a fun and creative camp for the duration of the show. Led by Orlando Shakes Actor/Educators, theatergoers' children ages 5 to 12 will enjoy supervised arts and crafts, play educational games, and maybe even learn a song or dance. The service is available to all ticket buyers for select Sunday matinee performances of Signature Series productions for just $15 per child.

Advance registration is required. Minimum of 5 business days before performance. Call the Box Office at (407) 447-1700.

Who can participate in PLAYSHOP?
All tickets buyers may register their children in PLAYSHOP. Children ages 5 - 12 are eligible to participate in the workshop.

How much does it cost?
PLAYSHOP cost $15 per child. Orlando Shakes Family Flex pass holders may register the first child for free.

When can I enroll my child in PLAYSHOP?
Parents may enroll their child in PLAYSHOP at the time of ticket purchase or afterword by contacting the Box Office at 407-447-1700. PLAYSHOP reservations MUST be made 5 days in advance of your performance. Minimum of 5 students required.

When and where do I drop off and pick up my child for PLAYSHOP?
For all performances PLAYSHOP takes place at the Lowndes Shakespeare Center so you will simply need to check in at the Box Office when you arrive. Our Box Office staff will present you with tickets to your scheduled performance and then direct you to PLAYSHOP check-in. You will be asked to sign in and provide your name, your child's name and your seat location for the performance.

May I visit my child at intermission?
No. We ask that parents not visit their children until the performance has ended so that our Actor/Educators may fully engage with the children.

What if my child needs parental attention during the performance?
If your child should need your attention, the House Manager who knows your seat location will enter the theater and escort you to your child.

Does my child need to wear or bring anything to PLAYSHOP?
Please have your child wear loose, comfortable clothing and be sure to pack a healthy snack, and a bottle of water.
