Taxis may carry up to 9 passengers, and charge the same rate regardless of the number of passengers. All taxicabs picking up at the Airport are regulated by the City of Orlando's Vehicle-for-Hire ordinance which requires fares to be determined by a taximeter. Flat rate fees are not authorized; therefore metered rate may vary from the approximate rates quoted above.
NOTE: Although we are partners with UCF, the John and Rita Lowndes Shakespeare Center is NOT located on the UCF campus. Our theater is located just north of downtown Orlando in Loch Haven Cultural Park.

Free parking is available in Loch Haven Cultural Park; however, a simultaneous event in Loch Haven Park may create a parking challenge. - From I-4 - take the Princeton Street Exit (Exit 85).

PLANNING YOUR VISIT
Central Florida is a thriving destination with beautiful scenery, historic homes, world-class attractions, and activities aplenty. When planning your visit to Orlando Shakespeare Theater, we encourage you to stay a few days in Orlando and experience hundreds of reasons to linger.
The Lowndes Shakespeare Center is located within Loch Haven Park, which covers 45 acres and serves as the region's premier cultural park. Nestled between three lakes, Lake Estelle on the north, Lake Rowena on the east, and Lake Formosa on the south, the Loch Haven Cultural Park is located on North Mills Avenue and Princeton Street. The lawn areas in the center portion of the park are wonderful places to sit and enjoy the lake views shaded by majestic oak trees. One of Central Florida’s oldest and largest oak trees (known as "The Mayor") grows in the park near the Mennello Museum.
