October 17 - November 23, 2013

Margeson Theater

Book and Lyrics by Murray Horwitz and Will Osborne
Music and Additional Lyrics by Allen Toussaint
Based on the books by Mary Pope Osborne
Directed by Steve MacKinnon

"Forget ghosts! We came here to look for Louis Armstrong, the King of Jazz."

On the eve of All Saints Day – the most haunted night of the year – beloved Magic Tree House characters Jack and Annie must find a young Louis Armstrong and put him on the path to becoming the king of jazz.

Featuring a live band, a cast of skilled performers, and a powerful message about dreams, race, and possibilities, this new jazz musical will transport audiences back to 1915 New Orleans, where the streets are filled with music – and the night is filled with ghosts!

ATTENTION: Due to the Festival of Trees event, there will be a high volume of guests parking in Loch Haven Park. Click here to view a map of additional parking and shuttle options.
