Loch Haven Cultural Park
The Lowndes Shakespeare Center is located within Loch Haven Park Cultural Park, which covers 45 acres and serves as the region's premier cultural park. The park is also home to the Orlando Museum of Art, Mennello Museum of American Art, Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, Orlando Repertory Theatre, Orlando Science Center, Orlando Fire Museum and the Orlando Garden Club.
Nestled between three lakes, Lake Estelle on the north, Lake Rowena on the east, and Lake Formosa on the south, the Loch Haven Cultural Park is located on North Mills Avenue and Princeton Street. The lawn areas in the center portion of the park are wonderful places to sit and enjoy the lake views shaded by majestic oak trees. One of Central Florida’s oldest and largest oak trees (known as "The Mayor") grows in the park near the Mennello Museum.
With so many museums and theater groups located within Loch Haven, there is always something new to see or do, including yearly events such as the Orlando International Fringe Festival, Target Family Theatre Festival, PlayFest! The Harriett Lake Festival of New Plays, Pet Fair, Festival of Trees and Antiques Show and Sale.

Most of the shops are in the 1200 block of North Orange, near the intersection with Princeton Street. The area features a concentration of antiques vendors who sell furniture and accessories next to funky boutiques peddling 1960s collectibles and vintage records.

In 10 tree-lined city blocks, shoppers can find some of Central Florida’s best shopping, with everything from high-end footwear and designer lingerie to fine wines and pooch-friendly pastries.
