Daniel James Roth

Daniel James Roth is thrilled to be here at Orlando Shakes! Previous credits include: The Jungle Book (Chil), Romeo and Juliet (Benvolio, Paris, Fight Choreographer), Twelfth Night (Feste U/S, Fight Choreographer), Crimes of the Heart (Doc, Assistant Director), You Can’t Take it With You (Swing, Assistant Director, Fight Captain), Macbeth (Director, select scenes), Blood Wedding (Director). He also co-wrote the world premiere play Dawn of the War of the Planet of the Vegans as part of a 24 hour play festival. Daniel has worked at outdoor dramas such as The Lost Colony and Horn in the West. He is an Advanced Actor/Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors, and hopes to continue developing his stage combat career alongside his acting and directing careers.
