Dayja Le’Chelle (She/They)

A captivating performer, classically trained in music, theatre, and dance, Dayja is thrilled to be returning to Orlando Shakes with Welcome to Matteson! After graduating from the University of Tampa with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in dance, Dayja began performing all over Central Florida. Some favorite performances include Sweeney Todd (Johanna), Sound of Music (Maria), Ragtime (Sarah), Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! (Laurey), Sister Act (Deloris Van Cartier), and, of course, their Orlando Shakes debut, Ain’t Misbehavin’! You may have also seen Dayja making magic at Universal Orlando or sharing gospel at Epcot Festival of the Holidays.
