An actor, director, producer, and theatre maker with a number of regional credits to her name, Elaina Walton is thrilled to bring her artistry to Orlando Shakes. Elaina Walton has a B.A in Theatre from the University of West Florida and a MFA in Acting from the University of Florida’s School of Theatre and Dance. She is also the co-founder of “NonarBeth Entertainment”, an organization dedicated to the enhancement of Black voices and representation in the performing arts and media. Some of Elaina Walton’s favorite dramatic roles include She in Is God Is (The Hippodrome State Theatre), Abigail in Where do Eels Come From? (Horizon Theatre Company), and Maneda in Daughters of the Mock (Actor’s Warehouse). On the musical theatre stage, Elaina Walton has been seen as Wilma “Grandmama” Stray in Hills On Fire (Tilted Windmills) and Dee/Caroline Kennedy in Chasing George Washington (Orlando Repertory Theatre).
