Gladys has worked as an actor for television, movies, and theater, including TV dramas and sitcoms in Puerto Rico. Her theater experience includes Latin American classics like La Carreta by Rene Marquez and Gabriel Garcia
Marquez’s Erendira. She has appeared as the lead in August: Osage County by Tracy Letts, in Bellas Artes of Puerto Rico, Estell in the Hallmark Channel movie Stranded in Paradise, and in Lo que le Paso a Santiago, for which she won an Oscar nomination for foreign film. She was honored in 2014 by the Institute of Culture of Puerto Rico for her contribution to the arts.
