Jacob Steele is honored to take part in his first role at Orlando Shakes. He trains with Mrs. Sarah Lee Dobbs and is an apprentice in the Daniel Mills Apprenticeship program at the Garden Theatre. He started acting at age eight and has appeared in many youth productions with the Rep Youth Academy, CFCArts Youth Musical Theatre Troupe, and Acting Up Theater Academy. Youth productions include Mr. Memory/Compare in The 39 Steps, Prince Hans in Frozen Jr., Bert in Mary Poppins Jr., Daddy Warbucks in Annie, Jr., and Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid Jr. Jacob has also had the privilege to appear in several community theatre and professional roles throughout Orlando. His favorite roles are Little Boy in Ragtime (CFCArts) Nigel in Matilda (Garden), Kurt in Sound of Music (Icehouse), Georgie in Over the Tavern (Icehouse), and Winthrop in The Music Man (IceHouse).
