All performances are based on availability. All Student Matinees are ticketless and seating is not assigned in advance. Please check in with the Box Office upon arrival and a member of House Management will seat you inside the theater.

As Student Matinees tend to sell-out, please select your top 3 choices which might be possible for your group.

For in-person performances, make the most of your theater experience with a pre-show workshop!

Orlando Shakes will send a professional teaching artist to your school (only available at the Theater during summer) for a one-hour interactive experience built around the specific production you and your students attend. Workshops are designed to introduce students to elements of theater, develop personal relevance to themes and characters in the show, and connect curriculum to play content.

We do our best to inform audiences as to content of each production. Please bear in mind that the question of what is or isn’t offensive is an extremely subjective one, particularly when it comes to determining the appropriateness of plays for children.

Reservation Policies

This Field Trip Request Form is not a guarantee of a reservation. A member of our staff will reach out to you within a few days of submission. Once the contract is signed and returned then a reservation invoice will be sent to you. If you do not receive the reservation invoice from Orlando Shakespeare Theater, it is your responsibility to call the the Field Trip Coordinator at 407-447-1700 ext. 221. If we do not receive a signed contract within ten (5) business days from the date the contract is sent, the tickets will be released.

Payment

Deposit: (In-person option) If your school would like to hold the reservation with a deposit, the first payment of 50% will be due sixty (60) days prior to the performance. A payment for the remaining amount of the order and your final headcount is due thirty (30) days prior to the performance. You may not reduce your number of tickets after the final headcount date. Once final payment is due, the school is responsible for the full amount.

Payment for Virtual Performance

Prepaid (Check or Credit Card): REQUIRED FOR VIRTUAL. You may pay by sending a check in the mail to 812 E Rollins St, Orlando, FL 32803, or call the box office with a credit card at (407) 447-1700, x205. Payment is due prior to viewing the performance.

Final Headcount

When giving your final headcount, you are not able to reduce your numbers by more than 20%. Please adjust your requested amount of tickets before submitting this form if you feel you will have to reduce your numbers by more than 20% when your final headcount is due.

Adjustment and Late Seating Policies for In-Person Performances

Adjustments: The total number of tickets may be adjusted until thirty (30) days prior to the performance, after which the number of tickets may not be reduced. Payment for any increase in tickets is due on the day of the performance.
Late Seating: Please ensure that your school is able to arrive in time for the performance. As multiple groups attend our productions, we cannot hold the show for your school. We recommend that schools arrive at least thirty (30) minutes prior to allow for seating. In the event that your school arrives late for the performance, we will try to seat you as soon as possible based on the nature of the production. If you need immediate assistance on the day of your performance please call 407-447-1700.
Transportation: Buses may park on Mills Avenue/17-92 or parallel to our building and take up no more than 2 spaces.
