About This Production

Magic Tree House characters Jack and Annie are sent to Victorian England, where Charles Dickens is suffering from a severe case of writer’s block. Posing as chimney sweeps, the time traveling siblings team up with light hearted, helpful versions of Christmas Past, Present, and Future to inspire Mr. Dickens to write A Christmas Carol.

Celebrate Halloween with Jack and Annie! Starting one hour prior to the 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. performances, you and your family are invited to participate in a free Halloween Party! Festivities include Halloween-themed arts and crafts, as well as a costume contest and candy giveaway. After the performance, take photos with members of the Magic Tree House: A Ghost Tale for Mr. Dickens cast in a free autograph session! Pre-show activities free to all October 31st ticket holders.

About ASL Shadow Interpreted Performances

Each actor is shadowed by a sign language interpreter, providing a rich theater experience for our patrons who use sign language. This is an excellent experience for hearing theater patrons as well, by being able to enjoy a new and different style of theater.

Our interpreters are from Signing Shadows, a volunteer service for the non-profit organization, Florida Hands & Voices. One of their initiatives is to provide events and experiences that Deaf and hard of hearing children can participate in.
